Today I left my nurse practitioner’s office with tears in my eyes. Upon leaving, I took a moment to realize and recognize that my recent efforts have paid off. My nurse practitioner was very impressed with my results and we high fived! She said it is not often you get to see such dramatic improvements in such a short time frame, proving that lifestyle changes can make a huge difference, and she herself was both encouraged and inspired by the results. In fact, she gasped when we compared numbers from current to past!
At the end of October, I shared about my appointment where I no longer needed a biopsy for swollen lymph nodes which I was ecstatic about that news and now even more good news!
I have gone from very high blood pressure to perfect blood pressure and my resting heart rate to “that of a teenager”, without the use of any medication.
One of the most exciting things today as well was a normal C-Reactive Protein test result. C-Reactive Protein in an indication of inflammation in the body and I have had high results for several years. Today it was normal and I know it is because I can once again wear the rings that were too tight on my fingers. In fact, they are slipping off now!
I have done simple things to enhance my lifestyle one of which is saying, feeling, and believing that “I am getting younger and younger” all while supporting my body with healthy additions. I am not buying into the opposite phrase of getting older, and it is working for me!
I am so grateful to be writing this and if you are reading this, thank you for taking the time to do so and in celebrating this success story with me. Why do I share this? I share this to offer hope and encouragement. I share this to prove that small enhancements can make a HUGE difference.
I have been studying nutrition and wellness for most of my adult life and I will soon be sharing some simple things that I believe can be very effective in addressing many of the current health issues we face. I will also be sharing some of the recipes and foods that I have found to be super helpful in, for example, reducing inflammation in the body. Many of you have seen my post about my anti-inflammatory drink I make with lemons, turmeric, ginger, garlic and more. I have recently learned so much more as to what is helpful for healing and re-setting the body into healing mode and it is available to anyone. I can’t wait to share!
Today is a day of extra gratitude for me and I want to thank you for stopping by today to help me celebrate. Namaste.
